School Council
The school council is made up of seven members - two parent/guardians, two
certified staff members, two business representatives, and the
Principal. This group is intended to provide advice and recommendations
to the school principal and when appropriate, to the local board of
education. The council can study issues including but not limited to:
• Curriculum and instructional program
• School achievement profile and accountability
• Home-school communication procedures
• Extracurricular activities
• Budget priorities, including plans for capital improvement
