DRAMA KIDS Provides remarkable creative drama education for children. Our unique, fun and creative program helps to build your child’s acting skills, creative thinking, communication skills, confidence, leadership abilities, and self-esteem.  Our highly qualified and specially trained teachers bring new lessons and imaginative learning experiences each week, so that all students participate fully using a wide variety of dramatic activities.  Join us for this fun fall session of Drama Kids which includes a Parent Preview Day at the end of the session. In our spring session, students utilize all the skills acquired during the year to perform an exciting short, scripted production for family and friends.  Mondays (K-5th) 2:30–3:30

BRAINY BYTES Jr Circuits – (K-2nd) Let us help bring out your child’s creativity through art, music and more! Our Jr. Circuits class will teach the students programming and help them see how STEM can be in every aspect of their lives! Inventors, artists and music lovers will enjoy weekly challenges as creativity and technology come together.  .Mondays (K-2nd) 2:30–3:30,

 

BRAINY BYTES LEGO EV3 ROBOTICS – (3rd – 5th) With our hands-on/minds-on approach, students are encouraged to work in teams of two and brainstorm in order to find creative solutions to weekly challenges. Through a process of selecting, building, testing and evaluating, they will improve their problem-solving skills to accomplish exciting and fun robotic tasks. They will use their new skills to meet project-based challenges such as creating a remote control, smashing barriers and facing off with your opponents in a LEGO Sumo Battle. You don’t need any experience with robotics or programming to begin your robotic adventure. Mondays (3rd-5th) 3:45–4:45.

 

DESIGN THE RUNWAY – Design your very own fashion line with us!  Budding designers will create a fashion portfolio, create a one of a kind pieces with recyclable goods and end the week with a Runway Show to stop Fashion Week!  We will participate in several design challenges too.  Come design the runway with us! AFTER SCHOOL BUCKET JAMS – Bucket Jams is a great way to introduce kids to the heart of all music, RHYTHM. Learn the basics for percussion with curriculum designed by professional, trained, and experienced educators. Our accomplished instructors will give kids skill sets that will last a lifetime and be the foundation for all music endeavors in the future. So, come join the fun! No experience necessary. GUITAR CLUB It’s time to rock with Guitar Club! Guitar Club gives students in 2nd-5th grade the chance to get their hands on a ‘real’ guitar and play exciting music with their friends! Our experienced and encouraging teachers do a great job with both beginning and advanced students, so no experience is necessary to have fun in our class. KIDZKEYSKidzKeys uses color and tons of FUN to introduce students in K-2nd grade to the joy of playing the piano. Using the colorful Chroma-Notes™ system and Kodaly rhythm syllables, students quickly learn to read musical notation while they play familiar songs they will love to practice in class and at home. Our experienced teachers do a great job with both beginners and little Mozarts, so no experience is needed to have fun in our class! iBii MAGICIANS CLUB – Come join the NEW “ibii Magicians Club” and learn about the “secrets” of performing magic tricks, “vanishing”, predictions, and misdirection of forces.  Students will also build self-confidence and overcome the “fear” of presenting in front of others. Cost for this club is $185 for 12 weeks. LET’S DANCE – Leap into Let’s Dance this year for a dance class right at your child’s school! Let’s Dance provides students in K through 3rd Grade the opportunity to learn new skills that will last them a lifetime, build self-confidence, and have fun with friends. Our encouraging teachers will guide dancers through an exciting class of ballet, jazz technique, and creative movement with an applause-filled recital at the end of each semester! ANN’S STUDIO – This year Ann’s Studio is coming to Bullard!  Through the 12 week program participants will create fun and unique arts & crafts projects across a wide variety of techniques.  Projects will include things like dream catchers, string art, stained glass, jewelry, chess boards, kids’ room decor and more!  Our projects are designed to provide a solid instructional framework, while encouraging students to express their own unique style.  All necessary materials will be provided. Tuesdays 2:30-3:30 and 3:45-4:45 (K-5).

 

KID CHESS – Playing chess has proven to help students enhance their creativity, improve their power of concentration, develop and expand critical thinking skills, and boost memory and retention. Wednesdays (1st –5th) 2:30–3:30 and (K – 5th) 3:35-4:35

 

ZUMBA KIDS – Designed exclusively for kids to combine music, movement, and creativity. In addition to dance, we learn about other cultures, play games, and more. Wednesdays (K-5th) 2:30-3:30

 

IMAGINE THAT! ELECTRIFYING MAZE OF MYSTERIES – Exciting hands-on Science! Children will build it, break it, shape it and make it in this exciting science engineering exploration as they make vortex cannons to blast towers from across the room, potato launchers bridges and more!  If you think this sounds like fun, we will add in palm pipes, singing tubes, thunder tubes, and cups that talk!  We will electrify their imaginations as we create our own magnets, circuits, electromagnets, create eddy currents and more. The children will glow with excitement as we study fluorescence and bio-luminescence. Watch fluorescent eggs grow 100 times their normal size!  They will yell Don’t Bug Me as we study lovable and not so lovable insects. Wednesdays (K-2nd) 2:30–3:30

 

IMAGINE THAT! BUILD IT AND BREAK IT BY THE POWER OF ENGINEERINGExciting hands-on Science and Engineering! Our Dynamic Engineers will power and propel vortex cannons, potato launchers and Newton’s cars using many fun principles of engineering!  We will build it and break it with bridges and geodesic dome designs. We will make a water balloon helmet that will withstand impact and explore the magic of fluorescence.  Our Sound Techs will explore how sound and hearing work as they work with thunder tubes, screaming balloons, palm pipes and do a model sonar search. Wednesdays (3rd-5th) 3:40-4:40

 

IMAGINE THAT! MINECRAFTING CIRCUITS AND CITIES We will introduce Redstone in Minecraft.  Redstone can be used to: Make simple circuits, such as automatic doors and light switches.  Construct complex devices such as:  Trap Doors, Roller coasters, Automatic farms   Students will learn about switches, the binary numeral system, the difference between series and parallel circuits, make upstairs/downstairs circuits and more, all while using problem solving skills and group cooperation.  On the last day, students will use their new knowledge of binary and logic gates to create their own basic but functional calculators in Minecraft!  Students will also direct their enthusiasm for playing Minecraft into learning about and practicing city planning!  Students will learn about trading, civil responsibility and duties, agricultural planning and architecture while playing their favorite game with children who share the same passion.. Wednesdays (2nd-5th) 2:30 -4:00

 

CHOI KWANG DO – Develop confidence, self-control and discipline while improving both physical coordination and the ability to follow instructions in this well-rounded martial arts program.  Quick paced, fun-filled classes teach respect, courtesy and self-defense. Thursdays (K-2nd) 2:30-3:30 and (3rd-5th) 3:35-4:35

ART    Join our fun-filled acrylic painting and collage classes.  Our lessons are new and include the principles and elements of art and art history.  Encouragement overflows and imagination runs wild. Artwork is completed in each class.  Thursdays (1st-5th) 2:30-4:00

 

KID’S TECH – ALL NEW LESSONS!  Tech-Class is where we prepare your students for tomorrow and expose them to unique tech while teaching how it all works! This year, we will cover Digital Assistants (Alexa), Cyber-Security, ART-Tech, Music-TECH, Health-Tech, Buy-Tech and Picture-Tech.  We bring the awesome!  Thursdays (2nd-5th) 2:30-3:30

 

  1. KID’S TECH In Junior Tech-Class we give younger students an awesome foundation in Computer Skills and Technology.  We bring all of the necessary equipment:Amazon Alexa, Google Home, 3D Printers, Drones, Cubettoand more!  Importantly, every week will involve fun and challenging development of their Keyboard and Mouse skills.  All your child needs to bring is a healthy curiosity and a desire for fun!  Thursdays (K-1st) 2:30 -3:30 and 3:45- 4:45

 

PLAYBALL-Learn, Practice, Play, it’s the Playball Way! Playball Kids sports and coaching programs are about preparing your child for life, with our comprehensive movement and sport skills based program for K-4. Playball uses sports as the means to build competence in all aspects of participants’ lives including the emotional, social, cognitive, and physical.  All of the programs are taught in the fun-filled, energetic and positive environment.  Each class has a well-developed lesson plan and the kids practice the basic skills for soccer, tennis, baseball, basketball, field hockey and volleyball. Matches are played and drills are used to prepare students to a lifetime of competent and confident sports participation.  Thursdays (K-4th) 2:30-3:30

 

CHEER YOUR HEART OUT GA – Gets kids physically active with cheerleading.   Kids can learn how to cheer, chant, and jump in a way that encourages fine motor skills and a positive attitude. All students will perform at The Extreme Cheer Exhibition on 10/13/18 at McEachern High School- 1:00 PM.  Thursdays (K-2nd) 2:30-3:30, (3rd-5th) 3:45-4:45

 

SEW YOUR ART OUT –An exciting class for students who love to sew and want to let their creativity soar through arts and crafts! Please view our Parent Letter.  Everyone who sews needs a set of tools, so students will design a sewing kit from a paper box that they will decorate.   Next they will gather and learn about their sewing tools. To complete their sewing kit, students will make a sock donut that functions as a pin cushion!  Next, the students will create little booklets containing information about different stitches and types of fabrics. Does your child want to make clothes? The students will spend a day designing and sewing dresses on doll forms using a variety of materials. Using scrap fabric for upcycling purposes, students will make a pencil case and a mini pillow with a scrap fabric flower. On our final day, students will learn about circuits as they make a LED bag!  Fridays (2nd-5th) 2:30-3:30

 

DINOSAUR DISCOVERY – Take an adventure back to the Jurassic Era where we will learn about dinosaurs who roamed the Earth millions of years ago. Uncover fascinating facts, build a dinosaur replica, and have an archaeological dig as you explore your paleontological skills. In Dinosaur Discovery, you will become a paleontologist faster than Ornithomimids ran from a T-Rex!  Registration closes 8/13/18.  Fridays (K-2nd) 2:30-3:30

ULTIMATE SPORTS FITNESSAll USFA programs combine a foundation of speed, strength & agility with individualized skill development and injury prevention.   This 12 week Fitness Boot-Camp will focus on building confidence and teaching kids that a healthy lifestyle can – and should – be fun.   Each week’s workout will be different, incorporating a wide variety of games, exercises & activities that kids of all ages will enjoy.  Participants will learn not just proper exercise techniques, but also what the purpose is and why it matters to keep their bodies healthy & strong.  After completion of the program the kids will receive a gift bag and a certificate of completion.  Wednesdays and Fridays (K-5th) 2:30 – 3:30.
