Part of the Local and National PTA’s mission is to speak on behalf of all children and youth. For over 100 years, PTA volunteers have used their time, energy, experience and knowledge to bring about changes in laws, policies and programs for the benefit of children. Legislation and Advocacy volunteers will report on a wide variety of child-related issues via eblasts, newsletter articles, and presentations at PTSA meetings.

JA Worldwide is a partnership between the business community, educators and volunteers — all working together to inspire young people to dream big and reach their potential. JA’s hands-on, experiential programs teach the key concepts of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy to young people all over the world. Volunteers are provided a complete step-by-step kit to lead 5 classroom discussions on various economic topics. You can co-teach with other parents, or lead all 5 discussions yourself.
